Galenski Had 4 RBI In Second Game to help Blazers Surge to Double Header Win Over Beavers

DAVENPORT, FL - Elms Baseball heads home after a final double header sweep against the UMaine Farmington Beavers, overpowering the UMaine nine 11-2 in the first game and 7-1 in the second.

How it Happen

The Blazers Baseball team lit the field up in the first inning recording 7 runs and three players rewarded with a RBI. Senior Austin Roy (Cromwell, CT) cracked a double to send three of his teammates home, Elms now up 3-0 with no outs. Junior Seamus Higgins (Rutland, MA) caught a piece of action with a singled RBI, followed by Junior Aj Cook (Mendon, MA) who sent home the final two runs of the inning with a double RBI. 

The UMaine Farmington Beavers were able to chalk up a Run from W. Cauchon who singled to send home R. Sargent. (7-1)

Josh Nohilly (Bristol, CT) tattooed the ball in the bottom of the 6th to take on another run to the Blazers score of 10-1 against the Beavers. 

Devin Kazarian was the winning pitcher for the Blazer nine, he was on the hill for 4 innings.

The Elms College Baseball team left the diamond recording 9 hits and 10 runners batted in (RBI) against UMaine Farmington.

How it Happened

Blazers Josh Guilmartin (Granby, CT) was on the mound for six innings wit the Beavers making contact with 6 of those pitches and recording 1 run late in the 6th inning. Vinny Buono (Springfield, MA) would relieve Guilmartin in the top of the 7th.

Tyler Galenski (Wilberham, MA) doubled to send home Cook and George Chaya Jr.(Methuen, MA) recording two RBI. 

The Blazers attained a four runs in the second inning with three hits, including a sacrafice fly to center field by Chase Prestia (Newington, CT) sending home the final run of the inning. 

W. Cauchon grounded out to short stop to send home the Beavers first run of the game. (7-1)

The Elms College Baseball team dished out 8 hits sending home 7 runs against the UMaine Farmington Beavers, leaving the diamond 7-1.
