Maguire Center

The Elms College Maguire Fitness Center is open only to Elms students, faculty and staff. While we have allowed members of the Western Mass. community to use our facilities in the past, the growth in our number of student-athletes has made allowing additional outside usage impossible. We thank our former members, and wish them the best on their fitness journey.

The Maguire Center

The Maguire Center, home to the college's athletic department, is a fully functioning health club facility that includes a full basketball court with a suspended indoor track, a 25-meter swimming pool, and a fitness center.

The building was named in honor of Bishop Joseph F. Maguire, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Springfield, who was an avid supporter of athletics at Elms College.

Hours of Operation (for all Elms students, faculty and staff only)

Monday, Wednesday: 12PM-8PM
Tuesday, Thursday: 12PM-10PM
Friday: 12PM- 6PM
Saturday, Sunday: 12AM-4PM

Partyka Natatorium (Pool) - Open Swim Schedule/Information

Pool Policies:

The pool will be open to students, faculty, and staff.
Pool is only open when staffed by certified lifeguards
Pool users must provide their own swimsuits, towels and caps
Swimmer must shower before entering pool in the general lockerrooms
Swimmers must adhere to all college policies and instructions from lifeguards
