CHICOPEE, MA - Six Blazer Athletes in three different sports have made history within their programs in the 2022-23 seasons. Four Senior Athletes and two Juniors have hit the 100 mark in a specific stat within their sport these past couple months here at Elms College.

Women's Lacrosse honored Junior Goalkeeper, Gianna Liquori (East Longmeadow, MA) on April 8th when she recorded her 100th Career Save. in her first two seasons at Elms College Liquori managed to save 33 in two season, 14 as a first year, and 19 in her sophomore season. Since her achievement the junior has already added 80 saves onto her overall career, now sitting at 180. 

Senior Captain Anna-Elise Pikul (Belchertown, MA) celebrated her 100 Goal over the weekend against Rivier University after she was able to fire four shots in the back of the Raiders net. The Senior from Belchertown had her first year taken away due to the COVID-Pandemic, resulting in no games for all athletes in the spring of 2020. Pikul was able to make the most of her three seasons recording 22 goals in her sophomore year, 44 as a junior, and adding 34 in this season with three more regular season games to play in. 

The Blazers catcher, Tyler Galenski (Wilbraham, MA) recorded his 100th hit in late March. The senior had his first year cut short due to the COVID-Pandemic allowing the team to only play eight games that season. Galenski was able to start off his hitting career with 8 as a first year, 26 as a sophomore, 47 in his junior year and is currently at 15 hits for the 2023 season. Overall Galenski is sitting at 119 hits with 8 games left in the regular season.

The third baseman / pitcher, Austin Roy (Cromwell, CT) knocked his 100th Career hit over the weekend when the team competed against the Johnson & Wales Wildcats. Roy along with other Division III athletes were granted another year of eligibility due to the COVID-Pandemic shortening one of their seasons. In his first season he recorded 15 hits, 3 in his sophomore year, 24 in his junior year, and 30 as a senior. Roy is in his fifth year sitting with 29 hits in the current season, with 101 overall. With two more weeks of regular season games the senior has plenty of opportunities to grow this number.

Junior Captain AJ Cook (Mendon, MA) recorded his 100th career hit over this past weekend after he singled in game one against the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats. The junior from Mendon recorded 28 cracks in his first year, with 31 in his sophomore year. Cook is currently sitting at 42 hits in his third season with the Blazers and 101 overall. 

Senior libero, Collin Liedke (Newington, CT) reached in the 6 hundreds for career digs in his final season surpassing his own personal record and sitting at fifth highest career record here at Elms.  In his third season as a Blazer the libero went on to break three career records including the 3-set individual match record with 23 digs, 25-pt set dig record with 259 and the digs per set record with 2.73. Liekde would finish out his senior season breaking all three of his own records with 3.67 digs per set, 327 digs in 25-pt sets, and 24 3-set individual match record versus Regis on March 21st.  The Newington native recorded 74 digs in his first two seasons as a Blazer, seated himself in the 100's club as a junior, and he currently at 660 total digs here at Elms College as a senior.
