Men's Golf Places 11th in Day One Action at Hampton Inn Collegiate Invite

DARTMOUTH , Mass. - Elms College senior Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) shot a team-low round of 75 and placed third overall as the Blazers totaled 336 points to finish 11th during day one action of the Hampton Inn Collegiate Golf Invite hosted by UMass-Dartmouth on Friday afternoon. 

Endicott College and Salem State University both totaled 315 points to tie for first in the field of 18 teams, while Rhode Island College finished third with 318 points, followed by Amherst College (320) and Husson University (322). 

Endicott's Austin Teal, Rhode Island's Ryan Butler, and Husson's Greg Martin all shot low rounds of 74, while Fall placed third with a round of 75. 

Freshman Chris Miele (South Hadley, Mass.) carded a round of 85 and sophomore Brian Benson (Agawam, Mass.) tabbed a round of 86. Junior Nick Smith (Enfield, Conn.) followed with a day-one score of 90 and senior Tyler Cudnik (Hampden, Mass.) rounded out the lineup with a 91. 

Elms returns to Hampton Inn Collegiate Invite action on Saturday, April 12.
