Men’s Golf Places 18th at Williams College Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Elms College senior Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) carded a day two round of 76 and finished with a 159 overall score and the Blazers shot 323 as a unit and 658 over both rounds to secure an 18th place finish at the Williams College Invitational at Taconic Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.

Manhattanville College's Eric Michalak earned individual medalist honors shooting 72 on day one and 75 on day two to notch a two-day score of 147 following a sudden-death playoff.

Host Williams (607) earned top team honors, RPI placed second with 611 points and Trinity College finished one stroke behind that with 612 points to round out the top three in the field of 24 teams.

Fall tied for 43rd overall with his combined score of 159 while freshman Chris Miele (South Hadley, Mass.) followed his 81 on day one with a 79 on day two to card a 160 over 36 holes.

Senior Tyler Cudnik (Hampden, Mass.) shot 82 on Sunday and finished with a 166 combined score, junior Nick Smith (Enfield, Conn.) totaled 177 and sophomore Dan Olive (Jefferson Township, N.J.) shot 181 during the two-day event to round out the Blazers' lineup.

Elms is back in action on Wednesday, October 2 at the Blazer Invitational at Westover Golf Course at 10:00 a.m.
