Men’s Golf Places Seventh at Rhode Island College Invitational

WARWICK, R.I. – Elms College senior Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) carded a day-two score of 75, one stroke off the low round of the day, as the Blazers notched a combined score of 664 following day two action of the Rhode Island College Invitational and finished seventh on Saturday afternoon at Valley Country Club.

Rhode Island tabbed a second day score of 312 and finished with an overall score of 632 to place first overall. UMass-Dartmouth finished second with 639 points, while Husson University clinched third place with 640 points.

Tufts University's Brendan Koh tallied a two-day score of 154 and earned individual medalist honors while Jonathan Cooper of Rhode Island and Owen Elliott of Tufts tied for second with two-day totals of 155.

Fall carded a two-day total of 163 and finished 18th overall in the field of 83 golfers. Junior Nick Smith (Enfield, Conn.) tabbed an 84 on Sunday and 165 for the two days, followed by senior Tyler Cudnik (Hampden, Mass.) who shot a pair of 83s (166).

Freshman Chris Miele (South Hadley, Mass.) registered a two-day score of 170, while sophomore Dan Olive (Jefferson Township, N.J.) rounded out the lineup with a two-day total of 185.

Elms returns to action on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12 at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational.
