BOSTON, MA - The Emmanuel College Saints defeated the Elms College Blazers Saturday afternoon in the Jean Yawnkey Center, outscoring the men 89-57.

How it Happened

Dominque Threatt (Birmingham, AL) knocked down 4-6 from the field leading the Blazers with 8 points in the first half. The Saints got to the line nine times but were only able to cash in four going 44.4% for the first 20 minutes of play. Elms only hit 2-11 three point attempts, but were able to secure 15 defensive boards to help limit the second chance points for the Saints. The Blazers kept the score close only trailing behind the Saints 31-24.

The Saints dominated offensively in the second half, securing 8 three pointers and going 19-30 fron the field. Emmanuel was also able to get to the line sixteen times alone in the second to help them put 12 free points up onto the board to help them create a large lead over the Blazers. Tahquell Cadle (Bridgeport, CT) secured 11 points in the second, knocking down 3 foul shots. Klaytin Silva (worcester, MA) recorded 7 points, going 1-1 from the foul line. Emmanuel would finish out the game taking down the Blazers 89-57.
