How it Happened

The Blazers trailed behind the Wildcats for most of the first half, but never gave them the opportunity to build a lead of more than five points. It wasn't until Elms turned the game into a one point game after Trey Sabia cashed in his first three of the game bringing the score to 22-21, Wildcats leading by one. No longer than 30 seconds later Jake Midura, another first year shooter from Chicopee, MA cashed in another three for the Blazers taking the lead, 24-22. For the rest of the half both teams were neck and neck with the lead rotating between both the teams. Jacob Cancel Northampton, MA was able to hit a 3Pt shot with just 48 second sleft in the half to secure the one point lead over the Wildcats, 37-36 heading into the half.

After a hard fought first half the Blazers tried to continue their resilience against the wildcats offensive push but were only able to hold onto the lead for five minutes into the second half. The Wildcats started to hit shots from all over the court, bulding on their lead over the Blazers. Unable to fight back the Blazers would end the game down 86-56 for the final.
