CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore
opposite hitter Mike Kleckner (Bethlehem, Pa.)
downed a team-best four kills, but Endicott received a match-high
nine-kill effort from Jeremey Siden (Natick,

match at Picknelly Arena.
With the loss, Elms falls to 1-2 overall, 1-2 in NECVA action,
while Endicott improves to 1-2 on the season, 1-0 in league

Endicott raced to a 19-1 lead in the opening set behind a balanced

Gulls’ miscues and a Kleckner kill brought the Blazers to
within six at 13-7. Endicott then scored five straight points and
13 of the next 17 to take a 26-11 lead. A Gulls’ attacking
error and a service ace from freshman outside hitter
Stephen Cameron (Newington, Conn.) cut the gap to

N.Y.) and Kubisch, and a pair of service aces from Siden
sealed the second set victory and gave Endicott a 2-0 lead in the
match.
The Gulls again got off to a rapid start in the third stanza,
posting an 11-2 lead which blossomed into a 23-9 advantage. Elms
cut its deficit to 27-12 before Endicott closed out the match with
