Men’s Volleyball Tabbed Fourth In NECVA Preseason Poll
JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Elms College
men’s volleyball team was selected to finish fourth in the
2010 North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New
England Division preseason poll as announced by the organization on
Friday.
The Blazers received 54 points, including one first place vote.
Elms finished 20-13 last year and 11-3 in the league. Second-year
head coach Sheila Gisbrecht returns two
starters.
The top two teams in the division will receive automatic berths in
the 16th annual and 2010 NECVA Championship tournament, which will
be held from April 9-11.
Voting was conducted by the division’s nine head coaches.
