Cameron Named Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College freshman
outside hitter Stephen Cameron (Newington, Conn.)
was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the
Week in men’s volleyball as announced by the league office on
Monday.
Cameron smashed 12 kills, collected five digs, served up an ace
and assisted on a block in Elms’ hard-fought 3-1 loss to
Daniel Webster College on Friday, March 5. Cameron, who hit at an
impressive .357 clip for the match, earned his second conference
accolade of the season.
