Martin Garners NECC Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week Honors
ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College sophomore setter Mike Martin (Enfield, Conn.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week for men’s volleyball for the week of March 22-28 as announced by the league office on Monday.
Martin helped the Blazers to a 1-2 week, while recently being named the 2010 NECC Rookie of the Year. Martin dished out 60 assists this week averaging 6.67 per set. He also totaled 17 digs and four solo blocks, while hitting .533 on the week. This is Martin's fourth weekly honor of the season.
