Men's Volleyball Falls To Wentworth, 3-0

BOSTON, Mass. - Elms College sophomore setter Mike Martin (Enfield, Conn.) dished out a team-high 16 assists and added nine digs but the Blazers were swept 3-0 (22-30, 18-30, 28-30) by Wentworth Institute of Technology in Tuesday evening's North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division men's volleyball match in Boston, Mass.

With the loss, Elms falls to 4-22 overall, 4-10 in NECVA action, while Wentworth improves to 14-8 on the season, 7-5 in league action.

Freshman outside hitter Stephen Cameron (Newington, Conn.) paced the squad with five kills each, while he and sophomore outside hitter Yonalvy Acosta (Holyoke, Mass.) notched 10 digs each in the losing effort.

Acosta added four kills and a pair of solo stuffs, while Cameron and Martin each added a solo block of their own in the contest.

Elms returns to NECVA New England action on Wednesday, March 24 with a 7:00 p.m. contest at Regis College in Weston, Mass.
