Field Hockey Places Six Student Athletes On 2009 Gladiator SGI/NFHCA Academic Squad

CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Elms College field hockey team placed six student athletes on the 2009 Gladiator SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad as recently announced by the organization.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2009-10 academic year.

Senior Kaitlyn Graham (Paxton, Mass.) was named to the squad for the fourth consecutive year. Joining her this year are seniors Danielle Boyer (South Hadley, Mass.), Tomie Lafond (Hatfield, Mass.) and Melissa Pava (Springfield, Mass.), junior Andrea Ramsdell (Gardner, Mass.) and sophomore Emily McInerney (Glastonbury, Conn.).
