Messina then tallied two of her three scores, ripping a shot to the left corner of the net at the 28:48 mark, before striking again 1:11 later, extending the advantage to 4-0. Cote then scored in the 32nd minute of play to give Becker a commanding 5-0 lead.

Following the intermission, Gass collected her second goal of the contest on a pass from Jennifer Ouellette (Merrimack, NH) at 39:31 mark. Messina then closed out the scoring for the game when she fired a clean shot into the goal 46 minutes into the game to give Becker a 7-0 cushion.
