2009 NECC Championship Pairings Announced

ATTLEBORO, MA – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced the 2009 championship pairings on Sunday night for men's and women's soccer, field hockey and women's volleyball.

Elms College claimed the second seed in the women’s soccer championship tournament and has earned a first-round bye and will play Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7:00 p.m. Elms will host the winner of the Daniel Webster/Mitchell contest at Leary Field. The pairings are as follows:

Semifinals • Thursday, November 5
#1 Lesley (8-0, 13-4-1) vs. winner of #4/#5, 8:00 p.m.

The Blazers garnered fourth seed honors in women’s volleyball and will host a quarterfinal contest against Mitchell on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Picknelly Arena. The schedule is as follows:

The Elms men’s soccer team enters NECC tournament action as the sixth seed and will travel to Newbury on Wednesday, Nov. 4 for a 2:00 p.m. quarterfinal game. The men’s soccer schedule is as follows:
