Men’s Golf Completes Day One Action at ECAC Championship

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Elms College senior Phil Rurak (Wilbraham, Mass.) and sophomore Nick Smith (Enfield, Conn.) each carded a team-low round of 80 and the Blazers posted a combined score of 337 on day one of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship at Crumin-Fox Club co-hosted by Springfield College.

Junior Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) and freshman Lana O'Connor (East Longmeadow, Mass.) shot an 85 and 92 respectively, while junior Tyler Cudnik (Hampden, Mass.) rounded out the squad with a first round score of 94. 

The golf team is back in action on day two of the ECAC Championship on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 12:00 p.m.
