Men's Golf Places Seventh at Myrtle Beach Shootout

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Elms College sophomore Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) tied for sixth place overall with a round of 76 and the Blazers notched a team score of 331 to place seventh out of eight at the Myrtle Beach Shootout at Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Wednesday.

Denison College won the invitational with an overall score of 305, followed by McDaniel College (309), Stevenson Institute of Technology (313), Gettysburg College and Manhattanville College (315), Dickinson College (318), Elms (331) and Rutgers University-Camden (344).

Freshman Nicholas Smith (Enfield, Conn.) shot a round of 83 while junior Philip Rurak (Wilbraham, Mass.) and Kyle Simard (Thorndike, Mass.) turned in rounds of 86 each. Junior Daniel Costello (Brookfield, Conn.) registered a score of 90.

Elms is back in action on March 30-31 at the Rhode Island College Invitational set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
