Men’s Golf Completes Round One at Trinity College Invitational with Score of 299

HEBRON, Conn. – Elms College sophomore Henry Fall (Harpswell, Maine) shot a collegiate-career best 68 and the Blazers tallied a sensational team score of 299 in day one of the Trinity College Invitational at Tallwood and Blackledge Country Clubs in Hebron, Conn.

Elms also had two players shoot in the 70s as sophomore Kyle Simard (Thorndike, Mass.) carded a 72, while junior Philip Rurak (Wilbraham, Mass.) notched a 78 in opening round action.

Freshman Nicholas Smith (Enfield, Conn.) rounded out the Blazers' scoring golfers with a round of 81 – the first of his collegiate career.

Sophomore Tyler Cudnik (Hampden, Mass.) and junior David Pianki (West Suffield, Conn.) turned in non-scoring rounds of 83 and 91 respectively.

Elms returns to Trinity College Invitational action with round two on Sunday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m.
