Fuller Named NECC Rookie Of The Week In Women's Volleyball

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College freshman women's volleyball player Ashley Fuller (Amherst, Mass.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

Fuller garnered her second NECC Rookie of the Week accolade helping guide the Blazers to a 1-0 week following a 3-0 sweep of non-conference opponent St. Joseph College (Conn.) in midweek action. Elms' first-year setter dished out 21 assists and notched 14 digs to spark the Blazers to its second win in three matches dating back to a tri-match on Oct. 2. Fuller also added three total blocks (1 solo, 2 assisted), registered two kills and served up an ace to pace the Blazers to victory.
