ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College junior women’s soccer player Jennifer Killion (Cambridge, Mass.), freshman women’s soccer player Gianna Gorneault (Springfield, Mass.) and freshman women’s volleyball player Ashley Fuller (Amherst, Mass.) each earned New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) weekly accolades as announced by the league office on Monday.

Killion was named NECC Player of the Week in women’s soccer for the second straight time after a four-goal, one-assist week helping the Blazers to a pair of wins. Killion scored twice in a non-conference contest against Mount Holyoke College and followed that with two more scores and added an assist in an NECC win over Bay Path College. Killion has now scored seven of her 11 total goals in the last three games helping Elms build a four-game winning streak since Oct. 13.

Gorneault was on the receiving end of a pair of corner kicks which she finished with scoring strikes to help lift the Blazers to their convincing victory. Gorneault now has four goals this season.

Fuller dished out a total of 54 assists including a collegiate-career high 39 in a 3-1 win over Bay Path. For the week, she averaged 7.71 helpers per set while contributing 16 digs, five kills, three service aces and a pair of assisted blocks.
