Swimmers Conclude Action at ECAC Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Elms College senior Devon DeGrazia (Westport, Mass.) and sophomore Ethan Etheridge (Pawtucket, R.I.) each set new school records during action on the final day of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship meet on Sunday morning held at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis Md.

In the preliminaries of the 100-yard freestyle DeGrazia clocked a new school record of 54.66 besting her previous record mark of 55.65. Etheridge eclipsed Zach LeBarron's previous school record of 48.24 with his time of 48.01 in the event.

Sunday's two events concludes action for the men's and women's swim team in 2013-14.

500-yard freestyle (preliminaries) – DeGrazia – 5:15.94 – 26th overall
50-yard freestyle (preliminaries) – Etheridge – 22.22 – 28th overall 

Saturday
200-yard freestyle (preliminaries) – DeGrazia – 1:57.51 (school record) – 27th overall
100-yard breaststroke (preliminaries) – Etheridge – 59.69 (school record) – 17th overall
200-yard butterfly (preliminaries) – Keegan Goan – 53.49 – 33rd overall
200-yard medley relay (preliminaries) – 1:40.51 – 12th overall
200-yard medley relay (consolation finals) – 1:39.47 – 12th overall
