Dan Olive Named NECC Golfer of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College senior Dan Olive (Jefferson Township, N.J.) was selected as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Golf Player of the Week for the week, announced by the league office Monday morning. This is Olive's first Player of the Week award.
Olive assembled a career-best 36-hole performance to help guide the Blazers to an 11th place finish at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship. On day one, Dan fired a team-low 79, followed by matching a season-low round of 78 in the final round of play to claim a share of 21st overall with a combined score of 157.
Olive and the Blazers will be back on the course at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship at the Captain's Course in Brewster, Massachusetts from October 25-27.
