Oyler led the Blazers' reserves with nine points, while senior guard Jen Normandie (Westford, Mass.) and freshman guard Kendall McKinnon (Kensington, Conn.) added six points each – McKinnon's coming by way of two three-pointers for Elms which shot 40.5-percent from the field. Junior forward Nicolette Martin (Colchester, Conn.) added a three-pointer of her own and finished with six points.

Wheelock's Keneisha Milton (Boston, Mass.) was outstanding in defeat, scoring a game-high 26 points and hauling in a game-best 17 rebounds in 36 minutes of action. Milton also recorded three steals and a pair of blocked shots for the Wildcats who shot 35.7-percent from the floor in the contest.
