Parks Named to NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Elms College sophomore forward Denisha Parks (Fall River, Mass.) was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Weekly Honor Roll as recently announced by the organization.
Parks was named to the honor roll for the second time this season after helping Elms to a 1-1 week to open up its conference slate. In a tough loss to Regis, Parks netted a game-high 28 points - her second highest total of the season - and hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds and finished with 33 total points and 19 total rebounds during the two-game stretch.
