NASHUA, N.H. – Elms College junior forward Erika Murphy (Torrington, Conn.) scored a team-best 19 points, but Daniel Webster College shot 60-percent from the field in the first half and Alyssa Regan (Salem, N.H.) led five Eagles in double figures with a game-high 22 points to help secure an 83-42 victory over the Blazers in Thursday night's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's basketball game.

With the loss, Elms falls to 6-13 on the season, 4-6 in NECC play, while Daniel Webster improves to 17-2 overall, 10-0 in conference action.

A put-back by Murphy at the 8:03 mark off a missed three-point attempt from freshman forward Nicolette Martin (Colchester, Conn.) pulled Elms to within 16 at 27-11, but the Eagles used a 13-6 run over the final 7:37 of the half to post a comfortable 42-17 lead at halftime.

Regan scored 10 points in the opening half, Bosques totaled nine of her 13 in the first 20 minutes of play, and Alycia Gervais (Windham, Conn.) hauled in 10 of her game-best 16 rebounds in the first half.

In the second half, the Blazers' Jen Normandie (Westford, Mass.) converted a layup at the 15:25 mark to cut the gap to 49-27 but Bosques returned the favor and the Eagles maintained at least a 23 point edge and finished with a 83-42 victory.

Elms' junior guard Katie Condon (Sandy Hook, Conn.) finished with 10 points, six boards and a pair of steals, while Murphy hauled in seven rebounds, dished out four helpers and recorded two steals in the losing effort.

Daniel Webster finished the game 49.3-percent from the field and 42.1-percent from three-point range in the contest.

Regan led the way on 11 of 16 shooting from the floor, while Sarah Paternostro (Glastonbury, Conn.) hit on 6 of 8 from the field and totaled 15 points. Bosques scored 13, while Gervais and Tonisha Tate (Lynn, Mass.) chipped in 10 points each.

Kacie Lang (Raymond, N.H.) and Paternostro added eight assists each, while Lang added four steals to highlight the win.
