Normandie Named NECC Player of the Week
CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College freshman
Jen Normandie (Westford, Mass.) was named New
England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s basketball
Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 23-29 as announced by the
league office on Monday.
Normandie led the Blazers with 20 points in a 57-44 loss against
Smith, shooting 66 percent from the floor (8-for-12) and was a
perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line. She also chipped in four
rebounds, three steals and one assist. This is Normandie’s
second straight weekly honor of the 2009 season.
