All-Time Series: Elms College leads the all-time series with Becker College, 18-8 dating back to the 1981-82 season.

Last Meeting: Elms and Becker split the season series in 2010-11 with the Blazers claiming a 73-48 victory on Jan. 11 in Leicester, Mass., while the Hawks downed Elms, 73-54 on Feb. 15 at Picknelly Arena.

Setting The Scene: Elms takes the court Tuesday having won five of its last seven contests and is fresh off a 75-53 victory over New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) rival Bay Path College on Jan. 7. Becker earned its first victory of the 2011-12 campaign on Jan. 7 when the Hawks downed Mitchell College 72-53.

Scouting The Hawks: Becker rode the hot shooting of Chelsea Joubert (Westborough, Mass.) who scored a career-high 27 points on 12 of 19 shooting from the field in Saturday's 19-point victory over the Mariners. In addition to leading the team in scoring, Joubert had seven rebounds and a team-high three steals, while Kristina Desnoyers (Adams, Mass.) contributed 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Haley Ooms (Valatie, N.Y.) was dominant on the boards, pulling down a game-high 15 rebounds to help spark the Hawks' offensive efforts.

Scouting The Blazers: Elms stands at 3-0 in league play heading into Tuesday night's matchup with Becker and is currently in second place in the NECC standings. The Blazers were led by freshman forward Denisha Parks (Fall River, Mass.) who scored a game-high 24 points in Elms' most recent win over Bay Path, and is currently leading the league in three categories: points per game (18.8), total points scored (188), and field goals made (73). She is also second in the conference in free throws made (42) and total rebounds (102), and is third in field goal percentage (52.5) and rebounds per game (10.2).   Elms is averaging 72.3 points per league contest so far this season and 63.8 points per game overall on the strength of a stellar 39.4-percent shooting mark from the field.  

Strong Supporting Cast: Through the first 10 games of the regular season, the Blazers have received strong performances from senior forward Erika Murphy (Torrington, Conn.) who is averaging 11.4 points per game and 9.3 boards per contest, and junior guard Jennifer Normandie (Westford, Mass.) who has averaged an impressive 9.5 points per outing off the bench. Murphy ranks third in the league in free throw percentage (77.4), fourth in total rebounds (93), and fifth in boards per game (9.3), while senior guard Carolyn Talmadge (Wilbraham, Mass.) has dished out a third-best 32 assists.
