Narey Named NECC Player of the Week

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College senior Kayla Narey (South Hadley, Mass.) was selected as the New England Collegiate Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday morning. This is the first Player of the Week award for Narey in her Blazers career.

In a NECC conference tilt against Regis College, Kayla delivered a pair of goals, including the would-be game-winner, on Senior Day in a crucial conference win for the Blazers. On the season, Narey is second on the team in goals (3) and third in points (7).

Narey and the Blazers (3-12, 1-1 NECC) will be back in action in a conference road match at Daniel Webster Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
