Field Hockey Selected Sixth in NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College field hockey team was selected to finish sixth in the 2011 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason Poll as announced by the league on Monday.

Voting for the preseason poll is conducted by each member head coach, including new members Anna Maria College and Regis College.

The Blazers take the field under first-year head coach Kim Cosenza and a stellar corps of five returners and host of talented newcomers including 2010 First Team All-NECC goalkeeper junior Alexandra Bonavita (Agawam, Mass.).
