Men's And Women's Swim Teams Earn CSCAA Academic Honors

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Elms College men's and women's swim teams were named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All America Team for the Fall of 2010 as recently announced by the organization.
The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and
university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a
cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is
presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and
in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships
(Winter/Spring).
The College Swimming Coaches Association is the oldest coaches
organization in America. In addition to Scholar All American
Awards, the CSCAA recognizes All American Swimmers and Divers at
the national championships every year.
The Johns Hopkins women’s team led all teams with a 3.99
GPA. The Blazers' women's team collected an overall GPA of 3.25,
while the men's team earned a 3.06 GPA.
