Griffin Selected 2019-20 Monsignor Timothy J. Leary Award Winner

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College Athletic Department has named Lexi Grifin (West Springfield, MA) the 2019-20 Monsignor Timothy J. Leary Award winner.

The Monsignor Timothy J. Leary Award is presented annually to one female and one male senior STUDENT-athlete for demonstrating Monsignor Leary's spirit, dedication, leadership and love of athletics.

"When thinking about the criterion for the Leary Award, Lexi Griffin is an obvious fit. From her first day on campus, Lexi put her teammates and fellow Blazers first," described Coach Sean Milbier. "She always took pride in being at Elms and a part of our program. Lexi was a natural leader and mentor on our team as well as with her fellow student-athletes. Lexi's positive attitude and smile were an important part of campus life. It's been an absolute honor and pleasure to be Lexi's coach and friend these last four years."
