CHICOPEE, MA – The Elms College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie against New England College in (NECC) play Saturday afternoon on Leary Field.
Neither team could get their respective offenses going, as the two teams would play a scoreless first half, as Elms was the only team to get a shot on goal.
New England College got on the board in the 58th minute to take a 1-0 lead. With time winding down, the Blazers were able to tie the game in the 87th minute. Alizaya Clark (Springfield, MA) was able to score the game-tying goal with 3:15 left on the clock.
Elms is back on the field Saturday 10/12 at 12:00PM when they host Lesley University in NECC play.
