Women’s Soccer Secures #2 Seed In NECC Tournament

Chicopee, MA – The Elms College women's soccer team finished the regular season with a win at Bay Path University. The win secured the #2 seed for the Blazers and gives them a bye into the semi-finals. Elms will await the winner of #3 New England College and #6 Bay Path University game on Saturday. The Blazers will host the semi-finals on Wednesday 11/6 at 7PM.

Elms defeated Eastern Nazarene 2-0 in the regular season, and tied New England College 1-1.

"We are very proud to have secured the second seed in the tournament, it gives us a bye and allows us to host the semi-final match on Leary. We will take the extra time to prepare for Wednesday Night, where we know we will have our hands full with whoever we face" said Coach Milbier of the tournament.  

The Blazers end the regular season 10-7-2 overall, and 5-1-1 in conference play.
