Blazers Tied For 15th After Day One Of Hampton Inn Collegiate Invite

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Elms College men's golf team sits in a tie for 15th place after 18 holes at the Hampton Inn Collegiate Invite hosted by UMass Dartmouth. The 36-hole event will wrap up on Saturday.

Chris Soderberg and Matt King led the way for Elms on Friday with matching rounds of 82. Frankie Murray was one stroke behind with an 83, while William Marchand shot 86 and Christian Pavlakis shot 95.

Elms is tied with Suffolk at 333 overall, one stroke behind Worcester State in the 18-team tournament. Trinity (CT) is leading the tournament at 299, three strokes ahead of second-place Babson (302).
