Men's Golf Sixth At MCLA Invitational

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Elms College men's golf team placed sixth overall at the MCLA Invitational, hosted by MCLA at the Berkshire Hills Country Club Thursday afternoon.

The Blazers fired a team score of 329. Senior Mike Fleury (West Springfield, Mass.) finished tied at 13^th on the individual leaderboard after shooting a 79. Senior Brian Cowles (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and junior James Shalhoup (North Easton, Mass.) were knotted at 24^th with an 83, while freshman Frankie Murray (Belchertown, Mass.) was one stroke back with an 84 for 27^th. Freshman Christian Pavlakis (Harwich, Mass.) rounded out the Blazers golfers with a 91 to take a share of 34^th.

The Blazers will be back on the links at the Emmanuel College Invitational at the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
