Field Hockey Falls to Raiders on Senior Day
CHICOPEE, MA - The Elms College Field Hockey team honored their seniors tonight on Leary Field before they battled against the Rivier University Raiders. The Blazers came up short falling 3-0 to the Raiders on Wednesday night.

How it Happened
Elms goalkeeper Kaitlyn Lynes registered a second season-high of 14 saves as the Raiders outshot the Blazers 29-6. In the game, the Raiders held a 15-3 advantage in penalty corners, but were only able to capitalize off one. The Raiders delivered the first goal of the game at the start of the second quarter. Following a scoreless first quarter, the Raiders took a 1-0 lead into halftime after outshooting the Blazers 17-3.
The Blazers regrouped heading into the 4th, firing off three shots and earning the first two penalty corners of the second half in the last minutes of the fourth quarter. Unable to get a goal the Blazers would fall 3-0 to the Rivier Raiders.
