Blazers Overpowered by Lasers

AUBURNDALE, MA - The Elms College field hockey team traveled to Auburndale, MA to face the Lasell University Lasers Wednesday afternoon. Lasell exploded with nine goals, including four from Sheridan Blaha (Waltham, MA), in all four quarters to take the 9-0 lead over Blazers.

Half How it Happened

The Lasers were in control most of the contest, outshooting the Blazers 35-3 while also having the penalty corner advantage, 9-4.

The Blazers' goalie was under duress most of the afternoon with the constant offensive pressure from Lasell but they held their own for most of the game, holding the Lasers to just a 4-0 lead at halftime. Kaitlyn Lynes collected eleven saves on 19 shots in the first half and five saves on 16 shots for the second, Lynes played the full 60 minutes.
