How it Happened

Elm's goalkeeper Angela Picheo and the Blazers defensive line kept the first half goalless for the Lasell Lasers. Senior Audri Cope attained three blocks out of the nine total shot attempts the Lasers had in the first half. Picheo was a brick wall in the net for the Blazers saving all four of the shots on-goal. The Blazers trailed closely behind the Lasers with a total of 4-7 shots being on-goal. Lasers Kyli Swann saved three while a defender got a touch on one of the shots deflecting it from the net. Both teams head into the half tied 0-0.

Lasells' Camdyn LaMarre hammerd the ball into the back of the net, putting the Lasers up 1-0 in the 63:20 mark. The Blazers didn't let this goal slow them down, they quickly fired back when forward Ciersten Palumbo scored off of a rebounded shot by Kayla Pasquel tying up the score 1-1.

With both teams hungry to score, Lasell Sarah Lynch secured a leading ball by Serena Speight to punch in the second goal for the Lasers. Not even four minutes later Caroline Wilcox kicks in the eaqualizing goal in the 83rd minute. Lasell took two shots and was awarded a corner with only 20 seconds left to play to possibly secure a winning goal, but are unsuccesfull. The Blazers and Lasers end in a draw 2-2.
