Women's Soccer Closes Regular Season With 2-0 Win At ENC

QUINCY, Mass. -- The Elms College women's soccer team closed out the 2018 regular season with a 2-0 win at Eastern Nazarene College on Wednesday night.

Elms will head into the New England Collegiate Conference tournament with an 11-6-1 overall record and 7-2 mark in league play. ENC drops to 7-8-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the NECC.

Shannon Ryan put the Blazers on the board with an 11th-minute goal and Sydney Goodwin added an insurance goal in the 64th minute to propel Elms to the 2-0 win.

Elms held a 12-5 advantage in shots and 6-3 edge in shots on goal. Eastern Nazarene took the game's only corner kick.

Rebecca Molin made three saves for her seventh shutout of the season.

Elms will host an NECC quarterfinal on Oct. 27. The complete NECC quarterfinal matchups will be announced Thursday.
