French, McDaniel Named All-NECC in Men's Basketball

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College men's basketball team placed two players on All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) teams as announced by the league office on Monday.

Junior guard Andre French (Torrington, Conn.) was named First Team All-NECC after averaging 15.2 points per game during Elms' NECC slate and hitting on 36-percent from three-point range and 84.7-percent from the free throw line. French also averaged 2.8 assists per game and was second in the conference averaging 3.1 steals per game.

Junior forward David McDaniel (Plainfield, N.J.) earned Honorable Mention All-NECC accolades after averaging 9.3 points per game and a team-high 7.7 rebounds per contest during NECC action. McDaniel also added 12 blocked shots and eight steals against league competition this season.
