PLATTSBURGH, Mass. - The Elms College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-11) sweep to Plattsburgh State University and a 3-0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-22) sweep to SUNY Canton in day one action of the Cardinal Classic hosted by Plattsburgh State on Friday evening.
With the losses, Elms falls to 0-7 on the season. The Blazers return to Cardinal Classic action on Saturday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. against Saint Michael's College.
Saint Michael's earned a 3-1 victory over SUNY Canton in its first match of the evening and completed a 3-0 sweep of Plattsburgh State in the nightcap.
