Setting The Scene: Elms enters Saturday's New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) contest fresh off a 15-9 victory over Wheelock College that snapped a four-game losing skid. Carley MacIntyre (Townsend, Mass.) added two goals in the win, while Haley Erickson (Beverly, Mass.) recorded 12 saves between the pipes for the Lancers. Manning has totaled a team-best 21 goals this season, while Strazzere and MacIntyre follow with 18 and 14 goals respectively.

Scouting The Blazers: Elms posted a 15-9 victory over Wheelock in its last game on April 12 to snap its four-game losing slide. Senior attacker Melissa Meon (South Hadley, Mass.) scored a game-high six goals, junior attacker Chelsey Grabowski (South Hadley, Mass.) netted three and sophomore midfielder Catherine Duquette (Naples, Maine) contributed two to highlight seven goal scorers for the Blazers. Freshman goalkeeper Julie Hurley (Palmer, Mass.) notched her first collegiate win, collecting 12 saves to help pace Elms to victory. Grabowski has fired in a team-high 27 goals so far this season, while Meon has now scored a second-best 14 goals on the season. Junior attacker Emily Walsh (Hadley, Mass.) is third on the team with 13 goals, while freshman midfielder Brianna Lyons (Canton, Mass.) leads the squad in assists with four.
