Jonathan Garners NECC Weekly Honors

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College sophomore forward Ziggy Jonathan (Springfield, Mass.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week in men's soccer as announced by the league on Monday.

Jonathan helped pace the Blazers to a 2-0 week with a pair of road victories against conference foe Mitchell College (4-1 on Oct. 18) and a 7-1 non-league win at Rivier College on Oct. 20. Jonathan, Elms' leader in goals, netted one goal and added two assists against the Mariners before exploding for four goals and an assist in the Blazers triumph over the Raiders. Jonathan finished the two-game week with five goals and three assists en route to his first weekly accolade of the season.
