Men’s Basketball Drops Season Opener at Sage
Albany, NY — The Elms College men's basketball team dropped its season opener on the road at Sage College on Tuesday night.
After the two teams exchanged baskets and runs for the first 12 plus minutes of the first half, the Gators went on a 24-4 run over the next 7:53 of the game to hold a 46-26 lead at the half. RSC held the Blazers scoreless until 0:54 mark of the half.
The home side shot 44.4% from the field in the 2nd half and would continue to pull away, outscoring the Blazers 48-30, taking the game by a final of 94-56.
