WEST HARTFORD, Conn - The Elms College men's basketball team dropped their conference game tonight against the undefeated University of Saint Joseph (CT), ending 60-86

THE BASICS:

SCORE: Elms 60, USJ 86

RECORDS: Elms (0-8, 0-2 GNAC), USJ (7-0, 2-0 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Tahquell Cadle (Bridgeport, CT) led the Blazers with 15 points and added 2 rebounds as Elms clashed with the Blue Jays on Thursday night at the O'Connell Center. The Blazers are 0-8 overall and 0-2 in the GNAC.

 D.J. Edelen (Prince George, VA) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. While Jaijuan Macklin (Sayreville, NJ) added 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 points.

The Blazers shot 8-29 (27.6%) from the field in the first half as Cadle paced the team with 12 points. Justin Feliciano ( Springfield, Mass.) added 5 points and Klaytin Silva (Worcester, MA) scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. The Blazers trailed 30-44 at the half.

The Blazers struggled to close the gap in the second half as they shot 10-36 (27.8%) from the field. The Blazers were solid from the free throw line however, as they went 5-8. The Blazer offense was paced by Roy Mckeithen (-/-) off the bench with 10 points and 3 rebounds and Edelen who added 6 points. The Blazers fell to the Blue Jays 60-86.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- The Blazers shot 18-65 (27.7%) from the field and 17-25 (68.0%) from the free throw line
- Tahquell Cadle lead the Blazers with 15 points and 2 rebounds
- Edelen and Mckeithen both added 10 points each
