ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms senior Alyssa Falvo (Wilbraham, Mass.) was recognized as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Field Hockey Player of the Week, released by the conference office Monday. This is Falvo's first Player of the Week honor in her Blazers career.

Falvo helped anchor a Blazers defense that limited opponents to two goals in two games. Falvo added four defensive saves to become the Division III national leader in defensive saves with nine on the season. During a 4-0 win over Becker, Falvo preserved the Blazers first shut out of the season by making a crucial defensive save on the doorstep of the goal to keep the Hawks off the scoreboard.
