CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore Kylen O'Hearn (Somers, Conn.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week, announced by the league office Monday morning. This is second time Kylen has garnered Player of the Week status during the 2014 season.

O'Hearn racked up five points in a pair of NECC shutout victories for the Blazers last week. In a 3-0 win over Bay Path, Kylen netted the second of three second-half goals for Elms. Against Southern Vermont, O'Hearn assisted the would-be game-winner, followed by an insurance goal from 12 yards out to send the Blazers to a 3-0 victory over the Mountaineers. On the season, O'Hearn is Elms leading point scorer, while ranking seventh in the NECC in goals (7) and points (16).

O'Hearn and the Blazers will look to continue their six-game unbeaten streak with a road trip to Daniel Webster Wednesday afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m.
