Olszewski's Dominant Week Yields NECC Player Of The Week Honor

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College senior Elizabeth Olszewski was dominant last week en route to earning New England Collegiate Conference Softball Player of the Week honors on Monday.

Olszewski (Canterbury, Conn.) was almost perfect at the plate in four games during the week, hitting .818 with an .867 on-base percentage and an off-the-charts 1.727 slugging percentage.

Three of her four games were multi-hit efforts, including a 6-for-6 performance in a doubleheader sweep of Dean. In the first game against the Bulldogs, Olszewski went 3-for-3 with eight RBI, a three-run homer and two doubles, before tacking on another 3-for-3 performance with two more doubles and an RBI in the second game.

On the week, the senior tallied 11 RBI, five runs, four doubles and two homeruns.
