Swimming Claims Postseason Honors

CHICOPEE, Mass.  – Members of the Elms College men's and women's swimming team concluded the 2015-16 season by collecting some hardware. Four members of both the men's and women's team took home New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) honors, while junior Kelly O'Connell (Monson, Mass.) was elected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship Team.

On the men's side, senior James Grippo (East Longmeadow, Mass.), and juniors Nick Cirillo (Gloversville, N.Y.) and Ryan Burgos (Plaistow, N.H.) were recognized as members of the All-NEISDA swim team for their efforts at the NEISDA Championships, while sophomore DJ Sherman (Winstead, Conn.) was named to the NEISDA All-Academic team.

For the women, seniors Crystal Archibald (Portland, Maine), Kim Panetta (Belchertown, Mass.), and Miranda Pratt (Southington, Conn.) earned NEISDA All-Academic team honors.
